November 2025 – Welcome Yacine and Wiliam!
- Yacine El Ghazi is starting his PhD on Light transport in optical fibers and reciprocity breaking
- Wiliam da Silva Oliveira is a postdoc from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) working with one of our collaborators there, Felipe Pinheiro. He will stay with us until the end of January 2026.
October 2025 – Welcome Benjamin!
Benjamin Marchand is starting his PhD on Multi-scale temporal nonlinear optical response of a biased crystal.
May 2025 – Welcome Idriss!
Idriss Mouely Mouloungui is starting his PhD on Direct-laser-writing of photonic integrated circuits for MidIR applications in collaboration with the Complex photonic systems and materials and the Quantum photonics and information groups.
Feb. 2025 – Welcome Nada!
Nada Redjimi is starting her PhD on Two-photon polymerisation of glassy structures in optical fibers. She is part of the Fiber optics and applications group and will strongly collaborating with us.
Oct. 2024 – Welcome Floriane!
Floriane Pellerin is starting her PhD on Femtosecond laser tuning of nanoparticles in optical fibers in collaboration with the Fibre optics and applications group.
Sept. 2024 – Congratulations Junjie and Léo!
Junjie Lu and Léo Colliard successfully defended their PhD. Junjie worked on Poles and zeros of the scattering matrix and coherent perfect absorption in tunable reverberating environments and Léo on Direct-laser-writing in optical fibers. Congratulations to them and good luck for the future!
Apr. 2024 – Congratulations Alberto!
Alberto Razo Lopez successfully defended his PhD entitled Localization of electromagnetic waves beyond Anderson : role of correlations, symmetries and topology. Congratulations! After a short postoctoral stay in our group, Alberto now continues his scientific journey at Institut Langevin in Paris.
